April 30th - The boys are doing great.  We are all getting BIGGER! They now weigh the same - exactly 2 pounds 8 ounces each.  And I weigh...well, nevermind... These are not small babies, which probably means less photo opportunities as room becomes more of an issue.
In these photos, the top is Twin B - don't even ask me about names :) And it's becoming a pattern, he seems to be a little less crazy about photo time.  In fact, in this shot, he'd rather show you how AGILE he is by placing his foot in front of his face.
Twin A, on the other hand, seems to enjoy the limelight and has always given us what we want when it comes to photo time.
Twin A is head down.  Twin B is traverse. I continue to feel the most movement on my right side - where their rumps and legs meet, so it's hard for me to decipher which one is actually moving.  But based on the sonogram, they seem to move non-stop.  Exciting!!!

April 4th - What an exciting day!  Jon and I were joined by Nana, Aunt Rhonda and Aunt Kathy for our next sonogram and to see the progress of the boys.  The sonographer did measuremnets on various anatomy including the brain, kidneys, lengths of arms and legs, etc...  All is looking good.  In the above pictures, we have Twin A, Twin B, and then a picture of Twin A's legs.  Afterall, I want to see what's causing some of those powerful kicks.  Twin A provided us with the best face shot and seemed to cooperate well during all the measurements.  Twin B was a little more active, making the measurements a tad more difficult and a little less cooperative when it came to photo time.  We think this may be due to his brother kicking him in the face. We were all thrilled when he turned his face just enough for us to get a peek.  He has a bit of a snarl, so now, you know why.

BABIES AT 19 WEEKS - 3/07/07
BABIES AT 19 WEEKS - 3/07/07
March 8th - Here are the BOYS at 19 weeks. The first is TWIN B.  The second is TWIN A.  You are looking at their profiles.  B is reclined, A is lying flatter.  The bottom two pictures are of the same shot.  The babies had been in the perfect position for face shots while the sonographer did all of her measurements, but as soon as she went to take the final pictures, TWIN B had flipped over and TWIN A was snuggled up close.  So, what you are seeing is the back of TWIN B's head (on the left) with TWIN A right next to him.  You can make out TWIN A's ear and folded arm.  Don't be alarmed by the weird shading and such...we are told that since they are in fluid, this is a normal appearance.

Feb. 15th - WE didn't expect to have a sonogram today at our appointment.  But, the doctor wanted to make sure that she could hear both heartbeats - and the only way to make sure she wasn't just hearing the same heartbeat, was to actually see them on a sonogram.  So, to our delight we got to see them.  Lots of movement going on!  It almost looked like they were hiiting one another.  It came as an even bigger surprise when she spotted TWIN B as a BOY!!  She couldn't really see the sex of TWIN A.  So, she called in a sonographer to take a look - and to our surprise and delight - ANOTHER BOY!  I guess the girl names I had been contemplating are out the window for now.  So, now, on to the BOY names...  Whew...I am still in shock...We will go back in 3 weeks for another sonogram.  I wasn't able to get any pictures today, but we will definitely have some next time.

Jan 16th - Here are the Twins at 12 weeks.  The top is TWIN A and the bottom is TWIN B.  You are viewing their profiles..  You can make out the sides of their faces, but they really resemble peanuts at this point.

Dec 15th - What a glorius day!  This was the day that Jon and I first heard the heartbeats.  And at only 7 weeks!  Unbelievable.  Here is what we saw on the screen.
